End of study project
Connected hard disk for photographers.
Echo is a tool that allows the photographer to restore his work and communicate easily with his clients. It acts as a connected hard disk. It is composed of two products : The server, it takes the form of a box that allows the photographer to put its files in network and the Echo module which allows its customer to be able to receive them.
Meetings with professional photographers
In order to anchor the project in the professional reality, I sought the view and advice of photographers. We have discussed the uses, habits and methods that shape their jobs on a daily basis. The objective of these meetings was to identify the needs to be taken into account. In particular, they helped me to draw up precise specifications for the project.
How can the tangible dimension of photography contribute to the valorisation of the photographer's work ?
It proposes to the photographer to synthesize all the information that passes with his client through a tangible communication channel. This object creates a continuous chronological flow of the photographer's activity.
It is offered by the photographer to his clients to give them access to the photos ordered. Thanks to a card the client identifies himself, it allows him to find the photos on a private online gallery hosted by the photographer for a fixed period.
It allows the photographer to communicate with his clients easily and in real time. It consists of a storage space as well as an interface where informations about current projects and the status of the orders are disseminated.
