SH-01 CLAY HOUSE
Architecture
2020
175 m² / 1884 ft² Clay house designed so that it can be built simply by self-construction.
Modeled on French "longères" and Jean Prouvé private residence in Nancy, the house is composed of two wings and a living room in the middle. Mono-oriented, and unlike the north, the south facade has the majority of openings. Its sheet metal roof is light and allows the clay walls to remain sheltered from the weather.
This house is also self-sufficient in energy thanks to 75 m² / 800 ft² of solar panels. This area also makes it possible to produce additional energy.
